There was a wealth of talent at StyleWeek’s first SEED Student Competition for Accessory Design in partnership with Rhode Island College. The participants were comprised of current students and alumni from RIC’s jewelry design and metalsmithing program. This year’s participants included Lauren Cummings, Julian De La Garza, Jen Degagne, Lynn Cacchiotti, Vee Hight, Cynthia Lech, Gabrielle Lopez, Alisha Low, Avery Lucas, Jenny Roderick, Danielle Straub and Cuong Sy. The winner was voted on by a select group of industry professionals. For her unique and highly creative ring design, Gabrielle Lopez is the 2013 SEED for accessory design winner.
