StyleWeek through Kelsey’s eyes

Hello Fashion Fanatics! My name is Kelsey Cregg, Executive Assistant to the President and Founder here at StyleWeek! I’m going to give you a day-to-day look into my role, and all the excitement that comes along with it!

Kelsey Cregg: Executive Assistant to Rosanna Sinel, President and Founder

First of all, I get to spend my days with this amazing group of people! One thing I have learned during my time at StyleWeek is that it is so important to have a great relationship with the people that you work with. These are some of the most intelligent, hardworking, passionate, and driven people I have met in my life, and I am proud to call myself a member of this staff. They are one of the main reasons that my job is so enjoyable!

The biggest question I seem to get from people is “What do you do when the week is over?” Let me tell you, the off-season is just as busy as the week itself! My day is full of answering emails, sponsor meetings, event meetings, speaking engagements, research, press releases, social media, and planning, planning, planning! Even though our staff is small, there is still a lot of work that goes into planning these events.

Myself with the best boss ever! (Okay I’m done sucking up)

My day to day is different than most at StyleWeek. Being the Assistant to the President, I get to see and be involved with almost every aspect of the company, and that’s not something that most Assistants can say. I’ve had the opportunity to attend meetings and events in Boston, New York, and of course wonderful Providence, Rhode Island. Setting up appointments and keeping the schedule on track is one of my main jobs here at StyleWeek, and even though it doesn’t seem like much, it’s important to keep everything on track and on schedule to get the job done.

Planning Stages of StyleWeek

During the week itself you will most likely find me in the Runway Room. One of my main tasks is making sure all of our Sponsors and VIP Guests have the best seats in the house. I’ll be in the Runway Room moving names around and making sure that everything is in tiptop shape for when our guests are called in for the shows. I also assist Rosanna Sinel, President and Founder, with any daily tasks she may need for the week. This could be anything from Project managing setup, answering emails, and finalizing guest lists.

The calm before the storm! Names are placed and ready to go!

Once the week is over, and all the shows and parties have ended the real fun begins, planning next season and all of the fun and exciting events in between!

The days are long, and the nights sometimes hectic, but I truly love being a part of the StyleWeek team and getting to work with these amazing people and designers! I hope this little insight gives our followers a better idea of StyleWeek and all that we do!
