Closing StyleWeek Season 10 was Jonathan Joseph Peters with his collection Modern Modannas!
Jonathan Joseph Peters is an up and coming American designer who searches tirelessly to find the fulcrum between avant-garde and ready to wear. By mixing pattern, texture, silhouette, and color Peters creates pieces with merit on the runway, and at home in his customers’ wardrobe. Peters has consistently shown his works of art since his appearance on season 7 of the reality design competition “Project Runway.”
JJP always seems to amaze the crowd, as they begun the standing ovation the moment the first Modern Madonna model walked down the runway. Sheer nude lace , ivory and ice blue gowns, and intricate embellishments made us want to be a model on the runway. The incredible handcrafted headpieces, crowns and accessories were created by House of Cach. The collaboration of these two design houses together produced StyleWeek’s best runway show yet!
