Making her debut at StyleWeek on Wednesday was Jillian Papa with her collection J.Papa!
Jillian Papa is an independent fashion designer and creator of the emerging women’s wear brand, J.Papa. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Jill began studying fashion design at RISD and then attended Pratt Institute. She currently works in the fashion industry while developing her brand in Brooklyn.
J.Papa is a collection of dresses, coats and separates, handmade from locally sourced materials. The J.Papa client is a fun and adventurous person with an eye for unique design. Inspired by her surroundings and the fast-paced lifestyle associated with New York City, it is Jill’s intention that J.Papa pieces exhibit versatility, fitting in appropriately no matter what the occasion calls for.
