A couple of weeks ago, StyleWeek introduced 5 of our new designers showing during Season 10! Now that you know their names, it’s time to get to know them personally!
First, I would like to introduce you to Jenifer Stark!
Jen creates beautiful, yet functional sweaters and pants to keep you cozy warm during those cold winter months!
Here are five fun facts about this quirky designer:
1. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. My grandmother taught me to sew as a child, but I didn’t learn to knit until I was 23.
3. All my designs are inspired by stories – the StyleWeek Fall 2015 collection is based on the work of George Cassie!
4. I won’t go anywhere near fabrics, finishes, or detailing that isn’t robust. It has to pass the “hike in the woods” test.
5. I used to be a mean roller skater, and am currently looking for a new pair of 80’s style speed skates.
