Also making her debut at StyleWeek on Thursday night was designer June Cruz with her collection Enamour.
When June Cruz created ENAMOUR she intended on making a fun and sophisticated line of dresses and tops for parties and social events. As Cruz has grown personally and professionally, so has her collections. Combining classic silhouettes with her own distinct design aesthetic, she connects with a woman’s need for functionality while still giving attention to the special details that make her designs unique.
Cruz‘s collection captured her inspiration of women both past and present. Using Frida Kahlo as her muse, Cruz coupled her collection with references to the 90’s Grunge Era. We especially liked the attention to detail, as Cruz incorporated plaid in unique places, and paired her designs with scarfs, and bad ass shoes.
